EXEL Electrical Engineering (Pty) Ltd (EXEL EE) is a Johannesburg-based Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) engineering company providing reliable, high-quality solutions for the mining, industrial, commercial, and renewable energy sectors.
Established in March 2006, EXEL EE has earned a reputation for dependable engineering, practical project execution, and exceptional client service.
We deliver complete turnkey EC&I solutions, managing every stage of a project from concept design and engineering through to supply, installation, commissioning, and final handover. Our expertise includes electrical systems, instrumentation, data control, solar and inverter installations, and medium-voltage (MV) infrastructure, all designed and implemented in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

Dave Le Roux
Dave has had a long and successful career in the automation field. He founded and managed successful companies, including Adroit Technologies, DLRA Projects, LBA and in 2016 with the other Directors founded EXEL Electrical Engineering.
Brett Scott
Brett has extensive experience in the engineering industry and has been instrumental in expanding our services internationally. Brett is passionate about what he does and enjoys travelling to sites around the world to offer quality strategic solutions.
Etienne Greeff
Etienne was appointed CEO in 2025 and has been involved in process automation since it’s inception. He is dedicated to getting the job done.
Lisa de la Motte
Lisa is involved with the commercial aspects of the business. Her hands-on approach ensures that even the slightest issues are attended to timeously and effectively.
